- Once the application is received at VIT, a message will be sent through SMS to the candidates stating that their application has been received at VIT. This would, however, be possible only if the mobile number is correctly shaded / given in the application form. The candidates may also track the status of their application by typing their application number in the VIT website. However, this feature can be availed only after about 3 weeks of dispatch of their application

5 Simple Steps to apply online for VITEEE
- Registration: Enter all the relevant details carefully. Change of data is not possible. A password will be sent from VIT to your registered mobile no. and email id.

Eligibility Criteria for VITEEE Application Form 2016:
- Age limit – Date of birth of candidates should be on or after 1st July 1994.
- Educational qualification – Candidate must have secured 60% aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics / Biology in +2 exam.
- The marks needed in +2 exam for SC / ST / North Eastern State candidates is 50%.
- Candidates who have studied in regular, full-time, formal education can apply.
- NIOS candidates can also fill and submit the application form of VITEEE 2016.
Photograph specifications for VITEEE application form 2016
- Scan a recently taken passport size photograph.
- The dimension of photo should be 3.5 cm (width) and 4.5 cm (height). This is the standard dimension of any passport size photograph. Simply ask your studio to provide with this.
- After scanning, save it as a jpeg file of size between 50 kb and 100 kb.
Signature specifications for VITEEE application form 2016
- On a white sheet of paper, make a rectangle of dimension 3 cm (width) and 1.5 cm (height).
- Sign inside this box.
- Scan the page and crop closely.
- Save the image as a jpeg file of dimension 20 to 50 kb.

- VITEEE Application Form 2016 can be filled online or offline as per your convenience.
- VITEEE 2016 Application Form filling important dates indicate the first and last date for submitting the form. You must apply before the last date of form filling to appear in VIT Engineering Entrance Exam (VITEEE).

How to fill VITEEE 2016 Application Form?
Step 1 – Register online at VITEEE application form.
You need to go to the online application form page and click on VITEEE Online Application.
You will be taken to a page similar to the one shown below.
Enter following details to register:
- Name
- Date of birth
- Gender
- Nationality
- Valid email ID
- Valid Mobile phone number
- Verification code.
Step 2 – Log in to fill up details in the online form.
The log in page will look similar to the image shown below.
- Visit the VITEEE online application form again.
- This time, proceed with the registered user login. Enter email ID, password and verification code.
- Click on submit.
- Name of candidate as it appears in class 12 certificate
- Date of birth
- Religion
- Nationality
- Community: please note that MBC candidates should select same code as OBC or BC.
- Mother tongue
- Native state
- Whether hostel accommodation is required or not
- Blood group
- Address for correspondence
- Phone number (landline with STD code)
- Mobile number
- Email ID
- Name of parent guardian
- Occupation
- Medium of instruction: English or Others.
- Mode of study: Candidates who have studied in regular, full-time and formal education only are eligible to apply.

- Roll number or registration number or seat number: if already allotted.

- Month and year of passing or appearing the exam.
- Choice of campus: Vellore or Chennai.
- VITEEE Test city preference.
Step 3 – Payment of application fee
Once the application form is filled and submitted, the following page appears directing the candidate to pay VITEEE 2016 application form fees.
You can make payment through one of the following modes
- Credit card
- Debit card
- Net banking
- Demand Draft (DD)

Payment through Online mode
Online payment gateway will let you pay the fee amount through credit card / debit card or net banking.
Step 4 – Upload photograph and signature.
On successful payment of the fee, you will be taken to the document upload page. Here you will have to upload photograph and signature.
Documents to be uploaded
- Scanned copy of passport size photograph. – Passport size colour photograph with 10 kb-200 kb (Dimension – 3.5cm X 4.5 cm) in jpg/jpeg format.
- Scanned copy of signature. – Signature of the candidate with 10 kb-200 kb (Dimension – 6cm(width) X 2 cm height) in jpg/jpeg format.
- Other documents, if required will be indicated.
Step 4 – Submit the application fee for VITEEE exam.
By uploading the photograph and signature, you have submitted your online application form.
Download the form and keep a copy of the same with you.
