AIIMS M.sc Admissions 2016:
All Indian Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) conducts the entrance exam for admission into various M.Sc. courses for the academic year 2016-17. Candidates who are interested to take admission into M.Sc. programmes must appear for entrance exam. Candidates will be given admission based on their result in AIIMS M.Sc. Entrance Exam 2016. Registration process for AIIMS M.Sc. Admissions 2016 will start soon, candidates who are seeking admission to various M.Sc. courses should fulfil the eligibility criteria.AIIMS M.Sc registration will be going to start in 3rd week of March 2016 tentatively.

Information has been provided so that candidates who have started looking for AIIMS M.Sc. Admissions 2016 can get an idea. As soon as AIIMS B.Sc. Application Form
AIIMS M.Sc. Admissions 2016 Application Form will be available online on website at www.aiimsexams.org. The registration process is expected to be start from 3rd week of March 2016. Candidates who are seeking admission to various M.Sc. programmes should fill and submit the application in the prescribed format.Eligibility Criteria
As per the last year eligibility criteria is given below. Eligibility criteria of this year will be updated soon.M.Sc./M. Biotechnology: The candidate must posses one of the following qualifications and have secured at least 60% marks for General/OBC candidates (55% marks in case of SC/ST candidates) in aggregate in the qualifying examination. Candidates having degree other than above are not eligible.
- MBBS/BDS (55% for Gen/OBC & 50% for SC/ST Categories)
- B.V.Sc.
- B. Pharmacy
- Bachelor of Physio-therapy (4½ year course)
- B.Sc. degree of minimum three years duration in any subject.
M. Biotechnology: Admission requirements are same like other M.Sc. Courses along with B. Tech (Biotechnology) which is also covered under eligibility criteria.
M.Sc. Nursing: B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing /B.Sc. Nursing (Post-Certificate)/Post-Basic /B Sc. Nursing (4years) course from any recognised University, from an educational institution Recognised by the Indian Nursing Council, with 60% marks for Gen/OBC candidates (55% marks in case of SC/ST candidates). Registration as Nurse, RN, RM (Registered Nurse, Registered Midwife) with any State Nursing Council.
Note 1: For Indian Nationals, 3% reservation for orthopaedic physically handicapped shall be provided on horizontal basis, in the seat available in M.Sc. Nursing courses. Eligibility criterion for candidates under this category are yet to be finalized by Nursing Council of India and communicated to the Chief Commissioner of Persons with Disability. Those desirous to apply under this category may apply but eligibility will be decided only after eligibility criteria are finalized by Nursing Council of India and approved by the Chief Commissioner of Persons with Disability, Govt. of India, New Delhi communicated to AIIMS.
Note 2: For M.Sc / M.Biotechnology and M.Sc. Nursing Courses :- Candidates who are due to appear at the qualifying examination, or have already appeared and are awaiting result, can also apply for admission. But such candidate must furnish:
- Proof of passing the qualifying examination with requisite percentage of marks and subjects within 5 (five) days from the date of declaration of results of Entrance Examination failing which their performance at the Entrance Examination will not be considered.
- All such candidate can submit certificate of Registration as a Nurse and Midwife from the Indian Nursing Council / State Nursing Council at the time of joining if they are selected.
Examination Pattern
As per the last year exam pattern is given below. Exam pattern of this year will be updated soon.M.Sc./M.Biotechnology Courses: The question paper for M.Sc./M. Biotechnology courses will be of 90 minutes duration consisting of 90 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) carrying 90 marks in the subject in which the candidates has applied.
M.Sc. Nursing Courses: The question paper for M.Sc. Nursing courses will be of 90 minutes duration consisting of 90 Multiple Choice Questions(MCQs) carrying 90 marks.
Medical Exam
The candidates selected for admission, will have to undergo medical examination by a Medical Board consisting of faculty members of the Institute. If, in the assessment of Medical Board, a candidate is found medically unfit, he/she will not be admitted. The decision of the Board shall be final. In that case, in his/her place next candidate in order of merit will be admitted.AIIMS M.Sc Courses Result
AIIMS M.Sc Result will be declared from the official of AIIMS at website at www.aiimsexams.org. Candidates are requested not to contact the Examination Section, All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi for the results on telephone, as these will not be provided. Candidates can check your result rank wise & roll no from the official website as per official announcement.Number of Seats
