IIIT Delhi M.Tech Admission 2016
An applicant must have a valid GATE score (2015/2016) to admission in M.Tech Programme for this year. Candidates can apply online for said courses as per schedule from the official website www.iiitd.ac.in. IIIT Delhi M.Tech 2016 Application Form
Candidates can fill their application for admission into M.Tech (CB) programme at IIIT Delhi from the official website www.iiitd.ac.in on or before the last date. Candidates are advised must check or ensure their eligibility and other condition carefully before applying online application. Eligibility Criteria
- B.Tech/BE in CS/IT/Math-and-Computing
or
B.Tech/BE in any other discipline and must have done the following in their programme:
- at least one computer programming course, and
- at least two mathematics courses
IIIT-Delhi provides relaxation to SC, ST, OBC, PwD and CW category candidates. Candidates under these categories must have CGPA of at least 6.0 out of 10 or 60% in B.Tech/BE and 55% in all previous degrees including 10+2.
Note: Candidates who are appearing in the final examination are also eligible to apply. They are required to provide their last CGPA/aggregate percentage of marks.
Reservation Policy

Selection Process
1st Stage: The applicants will be screened on the basis of GATE scores and their previous academic record (B.Tech/BE, 10+2). Maximum of 80 students will be invited to IIIT- Delhi to participate in the second stage.
2nd Stage: The selected candidates have to appear for a written exam in IIIT-Delhi that will test the candidates on mathematics, analytical abilities and comprehension skills. Depending on the results of this test, a maximum of 50 candidates will be invited to take part in the third stage, which will take place at IIIT Delhi.
3rd Stage: The candidates will be interviewed by the IIIT Delhi Faculty members.
Scholarships: Eligible students will get GATE scholarships.
Fees: The fee for the entire M.Tech program is Rs 2.5 Lac.

Yes, an applicant must have a valid GATE score (2015/2016).
3. Am I eligible to apply with 64.99 % in B.Tech? (Candidate Category – General)
No, the eligibility criteria is 65%. Refer Table 1 for minimum percentage and/or CGPA requirement.
4. Is there any seat reserved for SC, ST, OBC, PwD, CW?
No, only the relaxation in CGPA/Percentage will be provided. Refer Table 1 above.
5. Are the candidates appearing in the final exam eligible to apply?
Yes, candidates in the final year of their programs and who expect to complete all their qualifying degree requirements before the date of registration are also eligible to apply for admissions. For short-listing and selection purposes, their performance until the preceding semester (preceding year if their programs are year based) would be considered but their admission would be provisional, subject to their meeting the minimum eligibility criteria, after their final qualifying examination results are announced.
6. Do I need to send the print out of application after applying online?
No, there is no need to send a print out of application form or any documents to IIIT Delhi.
7. What is the venue for Written and interview?
Written and interview venue is in IIIT Delhi.
8. Are we going to receive any communication after screening?
There will be no postal communication. All the announcements and notifications will be listed on the website. The shortlisted candidate may be notified through e-mail/SMS. The candidates are advised to visit the website and check their e-mail regularly.
9. Can we avail accommodation in the campus for Written and Interview day?
No, the candidate will have to arrange it on their own.
10. Are we going to get an Admit card for written test?
The shortlisted candidates will be informed through mail/SMS to download their Admit Card from our website. The link for the same will be available from April 14, 2016.
