Neha Yadav IAS on her colourful success in UPSC Civil service exam 2013 chose to go for foreign services as she had opted in her proforma.
Educational background:-
Neha completed her schooling from Jawaharlal Navoday Balaghat. She pursued her B.Sc degree from
Gorakhpur University, completed the post graduation in Microbiology in 2011.
Home cadre:-
She belongs to Uttar Pradesh.
Preparation strategy:-
She says she has a habit of reading online for quite some time now though she is a firm believer that ebooks cannot replace the actual ones still she finds it easier to search and read e-material. Her whole preparation revolved around the internet.
She took mock tests at Vajiram and Ravi.
Optional Subject
Neha Yadav has taken her Optional Subject as Sociology. The subject seems to be of the short syllabus and covers the social issues which also can add the area of essays.
Interview preparation:-
For interview preparation, she relied on Rajya Sabha TV (for India’s World, Law of the land, the big picture), Indian Diplomacy by MEA.
Interview experience:-
She has been asked the questions in an interview as Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay, his major contribution, how he related to Gorakhpur.she is been also asked about nath sampradaya and definitions of nirgunaya and saguna movement?
